The Big-D Idaho Falls office began, in earnest, in 2013 when a project construction team with ties to Eastern Idaho was relocated to Rexburg, Idaho to manage the construction of the Central Energy Facility project at BYU-Idaho. Company leadership then discovered there were other employees from Eastern Idaho eager to pursue more work locally. In turn, Big-D encouraged their eagerness and desire to establish a presence throughout Eastern Idaho. That presence continued to grow until Big-D officially opened a regional office in Idaho Falls in 2018.
Big-D Idaho Falls is proud to offers clients the ability to work directly with a local contractor who can devote a higher level of attention to projects, typical of a smaller contractor, but who is also backed by the significant resources of a much larger firm. With Big-D Idaho Falls you receive the best of both worlds – the dedication of an earnest small contractor and the resources, professionalism, and experience of a much larger organization.
While the roots of Big-D Construction are ever-expanding, our Idaho Falls office takes a community-centered approach to our work. The Big-D Lindon office opened in 2005 with the focus to increase Big-D’s presence in Utah County. The Lindon office constructs a wide range of project types annually, with key market sectors being commercial buildings, higher education facilities, multi-family housing, industrial, and mining projects. Big-D Lindon is a fully self-sufficient office, able to offer comprehensive Preconstruction and Construction services, and is staffed with a Preconstruction Director, a team of estimators, and a variety of market-specific construction team members.
Building and maintaining local client relationships has always been the driving factor for the Lindon office but being local for their employees who appreciate working on projects close to home and minimizing long commutes is equally as important. Just as Big-D Construction seeks to be the most sought-after construction company in the business, the Lindon office has a similar goal of being the number one construction company in Utah County.

Big-D Construction was founded in 1967 in Ogden. It was our original home, first headquarters, and where it all started. The Ogden office is where our company culture and core values were forged and where Big Dee and his founding leaders built a company based on equal respect for customers and employees. The Vivint Phase 2 Office is a new, Class A, three-story office building located in the Riverwoods Business Park across from another Vivint building. Big-D Construction built the core and shell structure, the single-level underground parking garage, and performed all the tenant improvements for the buildout. The new open layout office is stylish, well-lit, ultra-modern and highlights the cutting-edge technology Vivint provides. The first floor features a full “demonstration house,” wired with Vivint’s products to showcase their capabilities. Finishes throughout the building are high-quality and the project incorporates numerous sustainable design elements like efficient MEP systems and minimal, low water use landscaping. The Vivint Phase 2 building is LEED® Silver certified.

AromaTools is a Utah-based company that produces resources for learning about using and selling essential oils. The AromaTools building is a new, two-story, concrete tilt-up structure constructed to be used primarily as a retail store but also includes offices, classrooms, and product assembly, shipping, and receiving areas. The building exterior is enhanced by full-height glass curtain walls, brick entrances and stacked stone accents. Interior areas are modern in design with bright open spaces that take advantage of natural lighting and surrounding mountain views. In addition to expansive retail space the AromaTools building includes convenient will-call area, kids&#8217; room, and a large event center. The project scope included construction of new infrastructure for site utilities, which included expanding Pleasant Grove Boulevard and its shoulder/curb inlet areas.
